This is the development source — it needs a build step

You’ve opened index.html from the project folder. That file only works through the dev server. To use the app:

Option A — one self-contained file (no server):

npm install
npm run build

then open dist/index.html (inside the dist folder, not this one).

Option B — development server:

npm run dev → open http://localhost:5173
